Our Mission

In the United States alone, about a million animals are subject to euthanasia and lose their lives on an annual basis. Approximately 6.3 million pets end up in the shelter system every year, for all sorts of reasons, and each visit could be their last supper if not adopted or claimed. OUR MISSION is to eliminate the financial obstacles our rescue and shelter partners face today in providing the best care possible, so that all animals have a chance to find their home.

We’ve all heard the saying, “money won’t solve all your problems”. In this case, we’re out to prove that it will. PetSmart, the national leader, has donated around $100M back to animal welfare over 30 years – which you’ll find is around 0.5% of their profits. In other words, if you switched Gotcha in their place – we would’ve donated $5 BILLION, or 25% of $25B. What that also means is that Gotcha will be able to match what PetSmart has donated over 30 years by acquiring less than 10% of their customers.

We seek to provide the same or better customer experience, from the best products and competitive pricing to convenience – the main difference being what your money is used for after you’ve spent it.

Beyond providing critical resources to our partner rescues and shelters, to tackle issues like space or medicine, Gotcha also looks to allocate resources to make pet education more accessible for all and lobbying for laws which protect animals who don’t have a voice of their own.

25% of our sales profits from 05/01/2024 - 12/31/2024 will be donated to the Nevada SPCA - Nevada's LARGEST NO-KILL Shelter.

We are a 501 (c)(3) charitable non-profit organization that relies entirely on the generous donations of animal lovers like YOU to make our lifesaving work possible! Our shelter does not receive funding from any large national SPCA, ASPCA, or any government agency; we are an independent non-profit that serves Southern Nevada. Nevada SPCA takes in over 2,000 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets annually; treating each and every animal in our care as an individual with a name, identity, and unique personality. Our ultimate goal is to place them into loving homes where they can thrive, provide companionship, and maintain rewarding relationships with their human family.
